8th Floor Improv

On Wednesday, Humanities got the pleasure of watching a performance by 8th Floor Improv. I was very excited because it was my first time getting to see them perform, although I've never been a huge fan of improvisation. I was impressed--coming up with funny things to do and say on the spot must be very difficult, and I thought they did a good job with it. Of course, there were a few awkward cricket moments, but that can be expected in any show. My favorite part was the final segment, which was a two man show. I found them to be very entertaining and they seemed more comfortable in front of an audience than the first group did. Hopefully I will get another chance to see 8th Floor Improv!

  1. I agree with Gwen. I had never seen 8th floor Improv either so I was pretty excited to see them perform and thought it was convenient to have it after a meeting. The perks of being a scholars student are great. At first I was a bit worried the show was going to go downhill because there were some awkward parts, as Gwen mentioned, but it saved itself at the end. Overall it was an enjoyable time and the show was well done. I would definitely consider seeing them again in the future.
