Taste of Ohio!

In late January, our union became packed with a plethora of cultural diversity. Included in the night's events, dance and vocal performances drew a substantial crowd even though most attended for the food. My attendance was brief, but I still experienced many new cultures. After the event, some friends and I went to Sloopy's for dinner. Overall, it was a fun night, successfully fulfilling both a humanities scholar's requirement and a craving for fun!

  1. Yes the union was certainly transformed into a cultural melting pot that evening. I certainly enjoyed the variety of ethnic cuisine, gorging on delicious dishes from several different nations. The performances were entertaining as well. As a dancer, I enjoyed the unique styles of the pieces, witnessing many genres of dance I've never been exposed to before. The participants all seemed excited to be sharing special elements of their culture with the student body. Overall I rate the night as a success and plan on attending the event next year if it is organized.
