Scavenger Hunt

I am so glad I signed up to be a Humanities Mentor.  Although I haven’t done as much as I would have liked with my mentees, it has still been a wonderful experience.  The idea that I can help someone and understand what they are going through (the craziness of freshman year) means a lot! One of the first things I got to take part in with my mentees was the Scavenger Hunt.  It was great to do the same thing as last year and to reminisce about just how far we all have come.  To teach the freshman a few things was really neat.  I also learned a lot from them about campus that I didn’t know either.  I think that is the whole point of this experience- to learn from one another and help out no matter what grade level or experience you have!
