Humanities Flag Football

This past semester our humanities group managed to ban together a team for flag football. Playing on the team was a good experience for everyone. Students from freshmen to juniors played which I believe made the experience a little different than last year. This gave the freshmen a chance to meet older students (other than their mentors) and brought everyone together through a shared interest. Although it was only four games spread over two months, it was enjoyable. Connections through shared interests (athletics, music, etc.) seem to create the most lasting friendships. I had a great time this year, met some great people, and would recommend more people to join next year whether you enjoy sports or not, it's always fun.
