Humanities End of the Year event

Last wednesday was the end of the year humanities event. The event was well planned out to recognize the graduating scholars and to reflect back on a memorable year. The slideshow from the past humanities events was very enjoyable and sparked interesting conversation. overall the event was a great way to reflect upon the past year in the humanities scholars group.

  1. The End of the Year Humanities events was really fun. It was nice to see the slideshow of where we started at the beginning of the year and where we have ended up. We are no longer new to the OSU community and will quickly be starting our second year. Looking back on all of the events made me realize how Humanities was at the center of my college transition experience. It was also a reminder to continue to be involved with the group in the years to come.

  2. I also enjoyed the end of year event! Although I missed parts of the slideshow while awkwardly standing near the punch, acting like I was helping, the parts I saw brought back great memories! It seems like freshman year of college has just as many memories as all of high school. It was crazy to see Chicago pictures and First-Year Retreat pictures and think about how recent it was. This year seemed so fast and the amount of great times just makes college life seem so quick.

  3. I think it was agreed that the end of the year event was fun so instead of talking about that I have a few suggestions for next year. :) We need more punch! There was a definite lack in the drink supply and an overabundance of food. I think holding it on a friday would give more people the opportunity to come. Also it would be cool if there were some board games for people to sit around playing when the conversation lags. (Besides this a party right?)
