Madrigal

I am in the Medieval and Reniassance Performer's Guild and we hold a madrigal every year, which is really more of a dinner and variety show than a madrigal.  I really enjoyed my participation in the show this year.  I was barely in anything last year and none of the shows were shows I planned, but this year I was the director of the plotline running through the show and I started up a bunch of shows that I wanted to see happen.  I also chose a very bouncy and energetic character this year, which takes a lot of energy, but was fun to perform.  If anyone's really interested, one of the member's parents recorded the show and posed it on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-jT_yGW4xF5ukIIX3xnGzx4HsR5Xbgn_&feature=edit_ok.

  1. I went to the Saturday Madrigal with Rachel Fatica and Nick Goodman. We had a blast watching some of our friends acting and singing and, though we failed to order food, it all smelled and looked amazing. The show was hilarious this year (during the parts when it was supposed to be funny). I loved it even more than I did last year's Madrigal, and I'm hoping to go again next year!

  2. This is the second time I went to Madrigal. I went to see it because my very good friend is in the Medieval and Renaissance Performer's Guild. I went with Sarah Ries and Nick Goodman. The topic this year was the Black Plague. I enjoyed the program and personally, I though that it was funnier this year. If you pre-ordered the tickets, they gave you food. We unfortunately did not pre-order but they still gave us Wassail. I am looking forward to watching it again next year!
