haverfield cookout

The cookout was a lot of fun because I got to eat yummy free food and talk to people from the Humanities program. It was nice to have a chance to meet more people from Haverfield that I wouldn't normally see around the dorm. Also, talking to others in the program, you can hear what major and career path they're doing which is very interesting. I'm looking forward to more social events in the future!

  1. I also had a great time at the Haverfield cookout! It was nice to see everyone outside of the meetings and class. It was much more relaxed and I felt better about starting up conversations. I actually met some of my closest friends here on campus at the cookout. I only wish that I'd gotten the chance to talk to even more people. Although, I did receive the honor of blowing up the palm tree that the drinks were in, ha ha! We should have another cookout when the weather gets more tolerable.

  2. The Haverfield Cookout was a lot of fun! It was still within the first couple weeks of school, so there was a lot of people coming together for the first time. I remember introducing my best friend from home everyone I had met at college at the cookout. It was nice to have everyone there at once so she could see how I was acclimating to college life. And everyone knows, nothing brings people closer than free food!
