Water for Elephants Movie

The Water For Elephants movie was pretty good however I didn't like how they changed some things. For instance, Uncle Al was not in the movie at all. He was the owner of the Circus, not August. Also, Reese Witherspoon, though a great actress, was way older than Marlena was supposed to be. I laughed at the scene where she said, where were you when I was 17. Clearly, Jacob, in real life, was not born yet. She was too old for this role but other than that, it was a good movie to watch.

  1. I also attended the viewing of Water for Elephants. It was really good! I have seen the movie before, but for some strange reason it was better than I remembered it! Thanks so much for this great opportunity! I hope to watch more films like this in the future.

  2. I really enjoyed the Water for Elephants movie. There were a lot of differences between the book and the movie, but I think it was a relatively good adaptation of the book. I'm always extremely critical of movie adaptations, but I was quite impressed by this one. However, I do think that Reese Witherspoon playing a girl in her early-twenties was a little ridiculous, but regardless the cast was excellent. Robert Pattinson's chemistry with Rosie the Elephant was fantastic :)

  3. I also watched the Water for Elephants movie. Although I had not read the book, it was an enjoyable film. After seeing the movie, I felt like it would also be interesting to read the book, both to be able to enjoy the story and to be able to see how the movie adaptation compares to the book.
